MEAT LOAF JUST CAME ON THE RADIO
(i squealed)
this is my jam right now, i’ve been playing it practically nonstop for days.
so i searched for this song and my own post was the first result. okay then.
lie, tell me a lie, tell me you’d like to stay for a while…
this is my jam right now, i’ve been playing it practically nonstop for days.

this is one of the most romantic songs that will ever be sung anywhere in the universe and i love it so goddamn muchI’d Do Anything For Love ( But I Won’t Do That) - Meat Loaf
so… i saw this video, and it’s a bunch of stars (mostly straight, as far as I know) being asked what their Dream Gay Marriage would be, yanno, who would they marry… and one of them was Meat Loaf, and he threw out a couple names sorta jokingly, but then he was like, “hang on I’m trying to think” and after a sec he says, “ooh, Tim Curry!” and i’ll be honest it kind of made my day life
ON A HOT SUMMER NIGHT
would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
fave Monk guest stars!!
- John Turturro- he is an amazing actor, i am consistently impressed every time i see him (which is something i can say about every other actor who will be on this list). he played Ambrose Monk, Adrian’s brilliant but agoraphobic brother, the Mycroft to Adrian’s Sherlock. he’s so sad and sweet and adorable- i can’t handle it.
- Adam Arkin- the first actor to play Dale J. Biederbeck III, aka Dale the Whale. for a long time he was overshadowed by Tim Curry (♥), the second actor to play the part… i saw Adam’s episode only once, before i was really into the show, and since i have a huge thing for Tim Curry (who was brilliant), i was kind of biased (read: completely blinded). anyway, i hadn’t ever seen the man in any other role, and when my curiosity got the better of me and i reinvestigated A) his episode B) other things he’s done, he very quickly made it to my List Of Favorite Actors.
- Tim Curry- duh. i fucking love him.
- Danny Trejo- had a relatively minor but very memorable part (bonus: it was in the same episode Tim Curry appeared in. that’s what we call a jackpot, babies!)
- Alice Cooper- i don’t really have to explain this one, do i??
- Meat Loaf- he was hilariously engaging as Rev. Jorgensen, the Voodoo Priest. just… oh my god. “Did you drink that?!”
Season 8: Episode 7- Mr. Monk and the Voodoo Curse
this episode was the last straw… i had to admit i was in love with the show (of course i got interested in time for the VERY LAST SEASON… that’s my life). i mean, how could i possibly resist? IT’S MEAT LOAF FOR CHRISSAKES.
bonus: the thing that first caught my eye was Tim Curry guest starring as Dale Biederbeck… my boyfriend’s dad was watching a marathon and i hear that laugh. i was like “OMG WHAT IS THIS?” then a week or two later there’s Meat Loaf playing a Voodoo Priest and it was all over.
that awkward moment when your favorite actor murders your favorite singer.
